The emails you want, and nothing more.

Sign up for the Newsletter to receive one email on the 10th of each month. Each issue of the Newsletter contains a brief update, including announcements and links to recently released work, and three exclusive recommendations: one Fiction Book, one Non-Fiction Book, and Something Else (a wildcard category to keep things interesting). Each recommendation is accompanied by a short review.

Unlike many reviewers, I don’t give star-ratings. I will never pass along anything I had a moderate or mixed opinion of. Full and enthusiastic personal endorsements only!

If I received a book for free, either from the publisher or from friends and colleagues in the industry, I will always disclose that relationship in my review. While I may make a small amount of money through referral codes, I will never partner with a brand or accept payment of any kind for advertising or reviews in the newsletter.

Signing up for the Newsletter will only put you on the newsletter list. Your email address will never be shared, and won’t be used for any other marketing or communications.

If you want more than just the Newsletter…

Sign up for “First to Hear” to receive day-of emails announcing new releases (so you can read new stories, essays, and books at launch), events, and all other important updates. The number of emails will change based on how many things there are to announce. If there’s nothing exciting happening, you won’t get any emails.

Signing up for “First to Hear” will only add you to the day-of email list. If you want to receive a newsletter as well, you will have to sign up for it separately. Your email address will never be shared, and won’t be used for any other marketing or communications other than the news and updates specifically described here.
